Classroom Rules and Guidelines

General Rules

• Admittance: No early entry for Social Sews before the designated time.
• Seating: 1 seat = ½ a table. 2 seats = a full table.
• First Come, First Served: No saving seats.
• Closure Time: Social Sews end 30 minutes before store closing for cleanup.
• Table Reservations: Full Table Reservations can be moved only by the named person or staff. Ask for staff assistance if needed.
• Class/Event Arrival: Set up 15 minutes before the start time.
• Barn Doors: Only staff can open or close barn doors.
• Registration: Register at the Front Desk for Social Sews to be included in the drawing.
• Aisle Blockage: Do not block aisles with trolley bags while waiting for Social Sews.
• Purchases: Have items scanned by staff before taking them to the classroom.
• Furniture: Chairs and tables are height adjustable. Do not bring chairs from home. Cushions are available if needed. Do not stack black chairs for seating.
• Guests: Friends/guests cannot attend a Class, Event, or Social Sew without paying the fee.

Cell Phones

• Speaker Phone: Not allowed.
• Disturbances: Leave the classroom or go outside if a phone conversation might disturb others.
• Mute: Mute cell phones during Classes and Events.
• No Phone Conversations: No phone conversations in the classroom during Classes and Events.

Food & Drink

• Allowed Locations: Only in classrooms.
• Personal Consumption: Homemade meals, snacks, or treats from home for personal consumption only.
• Shared Items: Shared meals, snacks, and treats must be store-bought and in original containers.
• Candy: Must be store-bought and individually wrapped.
• Clean Up: Clean up spills and dispose of food waste in tall black trash cans.
• Recycling: Only empty and rinsed containers go in the Recycle tall black trash can.
